Second Blog Post, morning dragonfly

Dragonfly on the front door, around 6am.

It’s been a busy week, with beautiful weather, a real estate continuing education class, a couple of great new property listings (please see my listings page) and four closings. Sometimes there doesn’t seem to be enough hours in the day, and managing life balance with work is often a challenge. But it’s a challenge I look forward to, each and every day, bright and early. 🙂

My wife and I took on the local Times Colonist paper route a few weeks ago as we’re up early every morning (5:45am!), and thought it would be fun to deliver the papers as I did over 25 years ago. The fellow at the paper asked me if I had any experience with paper delivery when I called the number on the little “Carrier Route Available” note I found in my mailbox. I didn’t know what to say, but I told him I remember from over two decades ago and promised not to mess it up. So far, so good.

This morning when we left, I noticed this dragonfly clinging to the front door, warming up in the sun. They are incredible up close and personal… a little intimidating how large they actually are. We let it be and it had disappeared when we arrived back home.

I’ve added a few more domains to our website barn – and, and have had a few visitors already, from buyers searching on Google looking to buy in the respective neighbourhoods.

Looking forward to a productive June, talk to you soon!
